The practice of yoga enhances our ability to focus on our positive intentions and it reminds us to be grateful for all we have. As we remember to have an attitute of gratitude, join us this Saturday for yoga in the park as we celebrate Global Attitude Awareness Day.

We are thrilled to be offering three inspiring workshops this spring…
Inversion Workshop w/Ashlee on Saturday, April 22nd from 1-3 PM at BR
Change your perspective with this inversions workshop. Time to conquer those fears of flying and build strength and confidence. Come discover the beauty and benefits in floating, falling and flying. We will laugh, sweat, play and most importantly have fun. We will discover different arm balances, as well as headstand and handstand variations. Inversions can have a profound effect on the body’s physical and emotional health. Turning upside down is an invitation to release your fears, calm the mind, strengthen the body and elevate your mood. We will start with a light practice to warm the body and build the foundation for a safe inversion practice. You will leave feeling energized, balanced, empowered and inspired to spice up your practice.
All levels and all students welcome.

Rebirthing Workshop w/Omar on Sunday, April 23rd from 1-3 PM at BR
In order to be reborn, one must accept what is and adopt a new way of experiencing the everyday world with the eyes and ears and hands of a child. The world’s divinity is revealed and we are re-awakened. We begin to feel differently, value differently, and accept our authentic selves. This yoga workshop will focus on letting go, forgiveness, acceptance, allowance, and rebirth of the self.

Spring Cleaning w/Erin on Sunday, April 30th from 1-3 PM at the Annex
Ayurveda, the ancient sister science to yoga refers to spring as Kapha season, a mixture of earth and water elements. Spring is cold, wet and heavy and yoga can bring Kapha back into balance with energizing postures and warming breathing practices that shed light on our heaviness and darkness.
We will learn about daily Ayurvedic practices that support the body by nourishing and cleansing on a cellular level, naturally balancing our systems. Then we will use its wisdom to breathe, sweat, flow and balance our bodies as we recover from winter and emerge into spring.

To meet the growing demand from Central Indiana schools to implement yoga programs provided by IYM, we request your support to help us meet our goal of providing over $200,000 in program services in 2017-2018. To accomplish our fundraising goal, the 4th annual gala has been scheduled for Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 beginning at 7:00pm at the Indiana Design Center, located at 200 S. Rangeline Rd., Camel, IN. The gala is our largest fundraiser of the year and is a vitally important part of our ability to share the gift of yoga with today’s youth.

Much love and happiness…
